As the Organizing secretary it gives me great pleasure in welcoming you to Chennai for VSICON 2010, the 17thAnnual Conference of Vascular Society of India. The venue Radisson Resort on the East Coast near Mamallapuram, spread over 30 acres with the largest swimming pool in Asia promises to be exciting with all the modern facilities for the delegates and their families.

The theme for the conference “OPTIMISING OUTCOMES IN VASCULAR SURGERY” has been chosen with the aim of hearing from the experts the finer aspects of vascular surgery. This in fact would widen the fine line that divides success and failure.

On behalf of the organizing committee of the 17th annual conference of the Vascular Society of India it gives me great pleasure in inviting you all to Chennai.
